Oakland Queer Dance Studio: Social dance classes and ballroom dance on Wednesdays at Lake Merritt Dance. September’s classes include Country-Western Two-Step (beg/beg+), American Smooth Ballroom, and the East Coast Swing / Lindy Hop Choreography!
Explore West Coast Swing & Community Space: West Coast Swing classes on Monday evenings at Lake Merritt Dance in Oakland. Beginner and all-levels classes followed by social dance. (Check their facebook page for the calendar.)

Abrazo Queer Tango has queer tango classes every Sunday and 3rd Saturdays in Berkeley and can offer a free class to first time dancers, the first Sunday of the month.
